Proposed immigration changes announced by the UK government

We are aware there have been some concerns about the proposed immigration changes announced by the UK government. Although we are still awaiting a formal statement from government departments, we would like to offer you some reassurance and our support if you have any questions. We have been advised that the changes being made are unlikely to affect Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives or Registered Healthcare Professionals (such as Occupational therapists, Doctors, Dentists and Pharmacists) coming to work in the NHS, the proposed changes affect the care sector (e.g., care homes, nursing homes). According to our sources, there have been no changes to the policy on dependants for NHS staff. If you are being recruited to an NHS role there should be no changes to your offer.
