Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust offers: 

  • Starting salary Band 5 pay scale from £28,407 gross per annum based on experience
  • Pre OSCE salary Band 4 £25,147 per annum,
  • Permanent, full time positions + overtime and additional shifts available,
  • Certificate of Sponsorship and Immigration Skills Charge (not IHS) (£3,199) – Employer’s cost,
  • Skilled Worker Visa fee for the candidate only – sponsored in advance,
  • English language exam fee IELTS or OET – reimbursed on arrival,
  • NMC Registration fee (£153) – reimbursed on arrival,
  • CBT exam fee (£83) – reimbursed on arrival,
  • OSCE exam fee (£794) – sponsored in advance,
  • OSCE training
  • Welcome payment (£1,700) – in first salary which includes: ‘welcome payment’ and contribution to your first month’s rent and £450 deposit,

Requirements:

  • Nursing degree at post-secondary level leading to registration as a general nurse,
  • Proof of English language proficiency (Academic IELTS or OET) in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s requirements, *
  • Proof of successfully passing the NMC Part 1 Computer Based Test (CBT) within 4-6 weeks of interview/offer (if not in receipt already) or booked in the coming weeks,
  • Minimum 1 year experience in inpatient hospital setting, ideally in one of the following areas (academic internships not considered):
    • Surgey (surgical ward)
    • Theatres – scrub and anaesthetics
    • Critical care
    • Cardiology
    • Respiratoy
    • Cath Lab
