Corporate and Social Responsibility
NEU Professionals have developed a standout corporate and social responsibility agenda that promotes sustainable and ethical recruitment initiatives
We develop collaborative partnerships with the stakeholders of a country alongside supplementary initiatives that fortify the healthcare system whenever possible. Our initiatives propitiate measurable benefits for sourcing countries, NHS Trusts and candidates.
Four NHS Trusts – EPUT, CPFT, SWYFT and NELFT have benefited from Southern Africa Recruitment initiatives in conjunction with Unions.
“The collaboration has been fantastic…the vacancies and the employment voids that we have in the NHS is system-wide and the only way to move forward is that we work together…and having the opportunity to meet another trust and build those relationships it’s definitely going to help us to work more collaboratively.”
Deborah Nikolova, CPFT
“Their ability to identify and tap into emerging talent markets has been instrumental in diversifying our healthcare workforce. By expanding the sourcing countries, they have opened new opportunities for healthcare professionals from underrepresented regions to contribute to our organisation and enhance the cultural competence of our staff.”
Wellington Makala, NELFT
“ We managed to meet up with different stakeholders in the countries, which is really important, for what we are putting back into the country and what we are looking to do. It allows us to step outside traditional questions and have a conversation with people… There’s a more humanistic element to the process. NEU Professionals work differently to a lot of other agencies.”
Value for everyone: Sourcing countries
- Eliminating Unemployment: By developing skilled nurses in the UK, sourcing countries can reduce domestic unemployment amongst their healthcare workforce.
- Attractive Career Option: The opportunity for nurses to work abroad and gain international exposure enhances the appeal of healthcare careers.
- Skill Enrichment: Healthcare professionals returning home from their international assignments bring back new skills and knowledge acquired abroad.
- Cultural Stigma Mitigation: NEU’s planned events promoting nursing in Egypt aim to address cultural stigmas and limited career perceptions related to nursing.
Value for everyone: NHS Trusts
