South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SWYPFT) has a catchment of 1 million people from a variety of backgrounds and they provide community, mental health and learning disability services to this catchment area, including the people who live in Barnsley, Calderdale, Wakefield and Kirklees.

SWYPFT work in partnership with different NHS organisations and local authorities and departments within the government. The trust strives to deliever a high quality services to all patients and strongly believes in working in partnership is vital to achieve this. The trust’s services in the community are well supported by hospital inpatient services to ensure that when patients are identified as requiring hospital assessment and support this can quickly be arranged.
