Who is eligible for the DO-IT?
The Course is open to all Health and Care Workers who may need some additional support to improve their English Language skills. You are also welcome if you have participated in our past editions and have not had the opportunity to attend all the classes, this is your chance to join us again and achieve your goals.
What is included in the DO-IT?
The Free English Support Course includes four weeks of webinars, Monday to Thursday at 05:00 PM UK Time, hosted by NEU Professionals English Language Support Specialists to help Health and Care Workers to be confident and prepared to sit the OET English exam!
When does the DO-IT Programme start?
DO-IT Programme: New Edition will start Monday 15th of July at 05:00 PM UK Time. The introductory class will be hosted by Jacqueline Mahugu, NEU English Language Support Specialist. Jacqueline will provide you with all the information about the programme, the support she will give you during the classes and the content of all the sessions.
Classes run from 15 July through 8th August, Monday thru Thursday at 5PM UK Time each day. After you have registered, you will received an email with all the details and link to join the online classes.
You must complete an EnglishScore test in order to participate
If you have never taken an English language exam (IELTS / OET / TOEFL), then as part of the registration process to participate in the DO-IT Programme, you must complete an approximately 30 minute test using the British Council’s EnglishScore mobile app. You can download the app on either Android or Apple mobile devices by visiting www.englishscore.com Once the test is completed, please take a screenshot and you will be asked to submit a screenshot of your score (A2, B1, B2 or C1) as part of the registration form.

Jacqueline is passionate about language. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English and Literature and also has TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification. As an English Language Support Specialist at NEU Professionals she helps demystify the OET for healthcare professionals as they embark on their journey to the UK.
