As part of their initial work, IR Academy hosted a conference for UK employers and organisation leaders in September 2024, to discuss the importance of pastoral care and best practices in the health and care sectors when recruiting from overseas.
The event was well received by team leaders who recognise the need for improvements in supporting overseas professionals working in the UK. Discussions focused on enhancing support systems, improving retention rates, and fostering overall team well-being.
