It is a 2 hour flights from Brisbane, within reach of the city and Southeast Queensland’s beautiful beaches.

Job details

• Full time role – Nurse Educator for multidisciplinary education team,

• Pay: $5081.10 – $5516.60 per fortnight (full time) + Annual Leave + Personal/Sick leave,

• Superannuation fund + Allowances,

• This role reports directly to the executive of Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services,

• You will be required to work all shifts, which may include participation in an on-call roster,

• Travel, phone on call and some stay away from base location are a requirement for this position. Accommodation and travel costs associated with work travel will be organised by the facility,

• TSS visa sponsorship, with pathway to PR ENS-186,

• Up to $70K incentives (**need to meet the eligibility),

Requirements

• Leadership experience (min. 4-5 years),

• Advanced level of decision making in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team,

• Advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice,

• Must have a driver’s license (International driver’s license),

• Must have Adult Advanced Life Support and/or Paediatric Advanced Life Support (or willing to get one within 3 months upon commencement of employment),

• Must be competent and trained in triaging,

• Ahpra (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registered or almost completed Ahpra registration process. More information about Ahpra can be found here.

• English language skills:

  • The English language skills registration standard is one of the five mandatory registration standards.
  • The purpose of this standard is to make sure all registered practitioners can provide safe care and communicate effectively in English with their patients/clients and other health practitioners.
  • You must meet the registration standard for English language skills set by your National Board.
  • Detailed information about English language skills is published on each Board website. You can access this information by visiting the Registration Standards page.
  • Like all the mandatory registration standards, the English language skills registration standard applies to everyone who applies to be a registered health practitioner, whether they’ve qualified in Australia or internationally.

Candidates trained or working in UK, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Singapore, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Belgium or Chile will be prioritised as they will be likely to meet “criterion 2” during registration*.
