CheckMed Mauritius is a collaborative initiative delivering CPD-accredited, multi-professional clinical education, connecting global expertise with local healthcare needs. Designed to elevate standards across the region, our programme empowers doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals through dynamic, evidence-based learning.

This initiative is proudly supported by NEU Professionals Ltd, an award-winning international healthcare recruitment agency with extensive experience in placing high-calibre professionals into the NHS and global health systems. Their ethical approach and dedication to workforce development are central to CheckMedā€™s mission of building a sustainable, well-supported health workforce across Mauritius and the region.

Speaker Support

While they are unable to cover all expenses, CheckMed is pleased to offer partial financial support to international speakers. The exact level of support may vary depending on the sponsorship funding secured for each event.

As a guideline, CheckMed aims to provide a contribution of approximately Rs 50,000 (Mauritian Rupees) towards flight costs, along with 2 to 3 nights of accommodation during the event.

CheckMed is committed to making participation as accessible as possible and will communicate confirmed support details well in advance of each event.

  • August 9th: Taming Trauma Care and Emergency Management.

  • September 6th: Pain Management, including: Acute Vs. Chronic Pain: Dental And Medical Perspectives; Safe Opioid Prescribing And Alternatives; Temporomandibular Disorders (Tmd) And Chronic Orofacial Pain.

  • October 11-12th: Future-Proofing Healthcare: Innovation, Prevention and Holistic Patient Care; including: Innovations and Integrated Care, and Prevention, Mental Health and Leadership.
