What is the DO-IT Programme?

The Developing Opportunities for International Talent Programme is a programme of FREE online English Language Training PLUS support and coaching sessions delivered by NEU Professionals, all designed to prepare you for the UK recruitment process and fit around your busy schedule

How much does it cost?

It’s FREE! The program is sponsored by NEU Professionals Limited. There is no financial risk and lots of potential rewards!

Who is eligible for the DO-IT?

The DO-IT programme is open to all registered medical or healthcare professionals who may need some additional support when preparing to take the UK English Language exams. Eligible candidates may or may not have already taken the TOEFL, IELTS or OET exam and their scores were not sufficient for regulatory council requirements.

What is included in the DO-IT?

The DO-IT programme includes a series of Webinars hosted by NEU Professionals to help introduce potential candidates to the recruitment process. Our team of Language Support Specialists will provide four weeks of webinars to help prepare candidates for their English exams.

  • Minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience.
  • IELTS Academic or TOEFL certificate with minimum scores in line with the Health and Care Professionals Council’s requirement. If you are from an English-speaking country or you have studied in English, please contact us to assess your particular case
  • HCPC registration desirable but not essential (we can support with this for the right candidate)

Jobs for Allied Health Professionals

  • Must have graduated from an approved university or passed both parts of the PLAB test within the past two years
  • IELTS or OET certificate with minimum scores in line with the General Medical Council’s requirement.
  • If you didn’t complete an internship, we will accept evidence that you practised for two years continuously after you graduated
  • All pharmacists must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and legally practise as a pharmacist
  • IELTS or OET certificate with minimum scores in line with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Support with registration for EU Pharmacists can be provided once candidate have passed English Language
