Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) are looking to recruit Paediatric nurses to join their team at the quintessentially British city of Cambridge with experience in:

  • Paediatric critical care (PICU) – need to be planning to register on the NMC paediatric register.
  • Paediatric general wards/Paediatric Oncology ward – need to be planning to register on the NMC paediatric register.
  • Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) – need to be planning to register on the NMC paediatric register.

The Paedriatric Unit is located in Addenbrooke’s Hospital. This hospital provides emergency, surgical and medical care for local people and is also a regional centre of excellence for specialist services such as organ transplantation, neurosciences, genetics as well as paediatrics.

In 2023, Cambridge University Hospitals was awarded the prestigious “NHS Pastoral Care Quality Award” for their outstanding support to international nurses & midwives.

NEU Professionals Candidates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent degree from an accredited university or nursing school leading to registration with your local nursing council
  • 18 months minimum post-graduate working experience (academic internships not considered)
  • Proof of English language proficiency in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s requirements.
  • NMC test of competence in Children's Nurse (RNC) – Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • At least 18 months experience in a paediatric speciality nursing role.
  • Currently working in a paediatric specialty and in an acute teaching hospital with at least 200 beds.
  • Employment Gap: Maximum of 9 months at interview, maximum of 1 year on arrival.
