Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) are looking to recruit Paediatric nurses to join their team at the quintessentially British city of Cambridge with experience in:

  • Paediatric critical care (PICU) – need to be planning to register on the NMC paediatric register.
  • Paediatric general wards/Paediatric Oncology ward – need to be planning to register on the NMC paediatric register.
  • Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) – need to be planning to register on the NMC paediatric register.

The Paedriatric Unit is located in Addenbrooke’s Hospital. This hospital provides emergency, surgical and medical care for local people and is also a regional centre of excellence for specialist services such as organ transplantation, neurosciences, genetics as well as paediatrics.

NEU Professionals Candidates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent degree from an accredited university or nursing school leading to registration with your local nursing council
  • 18 months minimum post-graduate working experience (academic internships not considered)
  • Proof of English language proficiency in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s requirements.
  • NMC test of competence in Children's Nurse (RNC) – Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Employment Gap: Maximum of 9 months at interview, maximum of 1 year on arrival.

  • English language exam fee – Reimbursed on Arrival
  • CBT exam fee (£83) – Reimbursed on Arrival
  • OSCE exam fee (£794) – Paid in Advance
  • NMC application fee (£153) – Reimbursed on Arrival
  • Certificate of Sponsorship and Immigration Skills Charge (not IHS) (£3,199) – Paid in Advance
  • Skilled Worker Visa fee for the candidate only – Paid in Advance
  • 1 month of free accommodation
  • Inbound flight to the UK of max. value of None (costs over and above this amount to be met by the candidate)
  • Cash advance of £500 upon your arrival. Candidate will be required to reimburse this over a 6 month period beginning from their second month's salary cash advance in salary - Sponsored in Advance
  • Deposit Loan Scheme: There will be an opportunity for candidates to apply to the scheme upon starting at CUH. This is a deposit of up to £3000 which can be used towards rent that is repaid over 2 years
