Midwifery at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust

BHRUT provide maternity care to around 8,200 women each year, making it one of the largest maternity services in the country. They recognise that pregnancy and birth are really important times for women and their families and they offer full support for individual birth choices with up-to-date facilities, information, and highly trained staff offering treatment with compassion and respect.

This Trust is part of the The CapitalMidwife Programme which has been developed in response to the growing need to apply ‘once for London’ solutions to the challenges faced by over 6,000 midwives who make up the London midwifery workforce.
