English language training and exam sponsored by the NHS Trust!

A good level of English is needed to register for the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

In order to support you with this, the NHS Trust will fund the cost of an 8-12 week English training course and an exam (first attempt only).

Please note that the course will not teach you vocabulary, it is to teach you how to pass the English exam. You will need to have a good level of English prior to interview

Your level of English will be assessed once you’ve submitted your application (and prior interview) using the “EnglishScore” app by British Council.

You will need a score or approximately 470+ (approx C1) to continue to interview.

Your assigned Recruitment Consultant will also assess your spoken English during a video introductory call.

NEU Professionals and the NHS team rely on the motivation and commitment of the candidates who participate in the training course provided, to successfully complete it and achieve the required level of English language.
